I just need everyone to know that the Christmas party at my house has a chocolate fountain. That’s right, a fountain of chocolate. That’s all.  :)

I just spent the evening cleaning my house and baking Christmas cupcakes for the party tomorrow. I think I’m only an apron away from being a “home maker.”

excitement + fear = the SSAWW conference
So, my paper on Wharton was accepted by the Edith Wharton society for their panel at next year’s SSAWW conference. If anyone’s going to be in Philadelphia in October feel free to drop by and watch me faint from fear of presenting an academic paper to a room full of Wharton scholars…sigh

So, the papers are in and I just had a great dinner -red curry and a bottle of shiraz- with my best friend. Oh, and take a trip to Aspen :) I just need to stop and appreciate how great life...

Wanted: Great Holiday Music Suggestions

Procrastination Station
I have two more days to finish this 25-30 page paper. So, I’m banishing myself from tumblr today. I have to focus and this blog is amazingly distracting. Wish me luck; I’ll see you all tomorrow!

In My Craft or Sullen Art

Not for the proud man apart From the raging moon I write On these spindrift pages Nor for the towering...
