I just spent the evening cleaning my house and baking Christmas cupcakes for the party tomorrow. I think I’m only an apron away from being a “home maker.”

So, my paper on Wharton was accepted by the Edith Wharton society for their panel at next year’s SSAWW conference. If anyone’s going to be in Philadelphia in October feel free to drop by and watch me faint from fear of presenting an academic paper to a room full of Wharton scholars…sigh
So, the papers are in and I just had a great dinner -red curry and a bottle of shiraz- with my best friend. The tree and stockings are up, there’s a fire in the fireplace and Doogan is snuggling by my side, and I officially don’t have anything to do but relax, read and enjoy the city until January 13th. Oh, and take a trip to Aspen :) I just need to stop and appreciate how great life...
